I was lucky enough to return home from school in the late 80s in time to watch this spooky drama. It has remained a favourite of mine to this day. Moondial ran through six episodes, the first broadcast on 10th February 1988 and the final episode on 16th March 1988. It was part of the classic Children's BBC broom cupboard days.
Moondial was set in the grounds of Belton House, Lincolnshire. The programme was based on a novel by the author Helen Cresswell.
